Before you start
Make sure you have:
an eBay Seller Account connected to Easync as a target store (see How to Connect a Target Store in EaSync);
eBay Business Policies opted in and configured (Shipping, Payment, Returns);
a payment method set up for eBay fees — without it, eBay returns an error when you create a listing saying additional information is needed for your seller account.
After you connect a store, Easync starts syncing existing listings from it — this can take a few hours.
Step 1: Set up your eBay Business Policies
Listings won't publish until eBay Business Policies exist and are selected. Opt in to Business Policies and configure three sections on eBay's side:
Shipping — your shipping settings. For international sales, check "Send it to the US shipping center."
Payment — enable "Require immediate payment" and enter the correct PayPal email. Without immediate payment, Easync can't complete the auto-order with the supplier.
Returns — set how many days you accept returns.
Business Policies changes can take a few hours to appear on the listing-creation page — not immediately.
Step 2: Add products
Open the Add Products section of your store. There are two ways to add listings:
By URL or ASIN — paste Amazon product links that contain the ASIN, or the ASINs themselves. Best when you're starting from scratch.
By CSV file — upload a CSV of existing listings. Best if you already have listings, since it lets you sync source IDs (for example, matching eBay products to Amazon ASINs).
Step 3: Select your business policies in Advanced settings
Before uploading, open Advanced settings and select the correct eBay business policies (Return, Shipping, and Payment) for this upload. Even if the policies already exist on your eBay account, they must be selected here — and on some stores you may need to re-select them each time you load products.
Step 4: Publish and review drafts
Click PUBLISH. Your listings are sent to the Drafts section, where you can review and edit each one before it goes live. From Drafts, publish the listings to your eBay store.
If listings stay stuck in draft
The most common reason a listing never leaves draft is a policy error, such as "A return option is missing or not valid." Even when the policy exists on your eBay account, it has to be selected in Easync's Advanced settings for that upload.
Re-open Advanced settings and confirm the Return, Shipping, and Payment policies are selected.
Confirm a payment method for eBay fees is set up.
If you recently changed Business Policies, wait a few hours and try again.
If you've set the policies correctly and listings still won't publish, send the Easync support team the listing/request link for a sample and they'll check what's blocking it.
