The main point: this is eBay’s decision, not EaSync’s
If eBay shows your payout as “on hold,” that’s controlled on eBay’s side, not inside EaSync. If the seller account itself is suspended on eBay, that’s also eBay’s decision, and it cannot be lifted from EaSync’s side.
Why eBay may hold a payout
According to eBay’s official help documentation, the typical reasons and hold durations are:
Situation | Typical hold duration |
New private seller | 2 days after tracked delivery, 7 days with third-party tracking, 31 days with no tracking |
New business seller | 24 hours after delivery with an eBay label, 15 days with other delivery |
Occasional/inactive seller | 24 hours after tracked delivery, or 31 days after payment with no tracking |
After an account suspension | Up to 30 days: 24 hours after tracked delivery or 31 days with no tracking |
Unusual account activity | Same timelines as a new seller (private) or 2 days/31 days (business) |
High-priced item | 31 days from the transaction |
Payment dispute, item not received, authenticity check | Until the review/dispute is complete |
What you can check and do on eBay’s side
Use trackable shipping, and an eBay label where possible — this speeds up the release of the hold.
For an in-person handoff, scan the buyer’s QR code or 6-digit code so delivery confirmation arrives immediately.
Build up sales history: after 10+ sales totaling $150 or more with no returns/chargebacks, many sellers move to a faster payout schedule.
Watch the Payments tab in eBay Seller Hub — it shows the expected release date for a specific payout.
If a dispute or case is open on the order, resolve it as quickly as possible — this is a common reason holds get extended.
If the hold period has already passed and the payout is still “on hold,” contact eBay support directly (Seller Hub → Help) — this isn’t something EaSync can resolve.
What EaSync can help with
EaSync is only responsible for what happens inside EaSync itself — your subscription and billing status. If your store in EaSync is disabled because of an unpaid invoice, that’s a separate issue unrelated to the payout hold on eBay: paying the EaSync invoice won’t lift the eBay hold, and lifting the eBay hold won’t reactivate your EaSync store.
