How to Resolve the “Out of Stock” Error with a $500 / £500 / €500 Price

Written by Adele

When an Out of Stock (OOS) product is added to your Easync inventory, its price may automatically be set to $500, £500, or €500, depending on your marketplace currency.

These placeholder prices can cause issues with your eBay selling limits and prevent the repricing process from working correctly.

To avoid these problems, we recommend removing products that are out of stock and have been assigned these placeholder prices.

Step 1: Identify Out-of-Stock Products

Check your product inventory in Easync and look for products marked as Out of Stock (OOS).

Pay particular attention to products displaying a price of:

  • $500 (USD)

  • £500 (GBP)

  • €500 (EUR)

These prices are automatically assigned to OOS products and do not represent their actual selling prices.

Step 2: Delete Out-of-Stock Products

Once you have identified these products, we recommend deleting them from your inventory.

Removing OOS products with placeholder prices will help prevent unnecessary issues with your eBay selling limits and repricing.

Summary

To resolve the “Out of Stock” error with a $500 / £500 / €500 price:

  1. Open your product inventory in Easync.

  2. Identify products marked as Out of Stock (OOS).

  3. Check for products displaying a placeholder price of $500, £500, or €500.

  4. Delete these products from your inventory.

Important: We recommend removing OOS products with placeholder prices rather than keeping them in your inventory. This will help avoid potential eBay selling limit issues and ensure that repricing works correctly for your active products.
